About Ballston Spa, New York
Ballston Spa is a village in Saratoga County, New York. It is the county seat of Saratoga County, and located southwest of Saratoga Springs. The population of the village was 5,409 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Albany–Schenectady–Troy, NY Metropolitan Statistical Area.
The village is located on the eastern edge of Ballston Lake, and is named after William Ball who owned land in the region.
